Confirm the fuel issue
Explain what happened and whether you are certain the vehicle has run out of fuel. Tell us the fuel required by the vehicle. Fuel types, quantities and prices are confirmed directly rather than advertised as a universal delivery package.
If the wrong fuel has been added, say so immediately. Do not restart the engine to see whether it works; this is a different problem and must not be treated as a routine top-up.
A safe place for assistance
Share the road, direction and exact position. If you are stopped in a dangerous position or live traffic lane, contact emergency services first. Do not walk along a motorway or cross traffic to obtain fuel.
Road operator assistance or recovery may be required before mobile work is appropriate. Wider M1 and M25 coverage does not make every roadside location suitable.
